The 2009 Annual California Strawberry Festival gets underway this weekend, May 16 and 17, at Strawberry Meadows of Oxnard College.  The Proceeds from the festival will benefit many charities and communities in Southern California.

The California Strawberry Festival offers more than 300 art booths, food and strawberry vendors, fun activities for all ages, and much more.

Free strawberry Shuttle express are available to visitors to and from the festival grounds in many different locations in Ventura County.

Date: Saturday and Sunday May 16 & 17, 2009.

Time: 10:00am-6:30pm.

Location: Strawberry Meadows of Oxnard College, 3250 S. Rose Avenue at Highway 1 in Oxnard.
