Mandalay Bay Homes with Boat Docks are Selling Like Hot Cakes

The Boat Dock Homes in the Channel Islands Harbor are selling within 2 weeks to a month if they are priced right… The pickings are slim. I have a list of buyers wanting to buy but no homes left to sell them… Yes, there are home For Sale..but they are over priced and have been on the market for over a year… There have been quit a few short sales this year but that to seem to be slowing down… I think things are looking up…

Ventura County Lender Brian Sipes, Real Estate is looking Up

Mark Sipes says,

In the August 12th meeting the feds decided again to hold rates steady near historical lows. Also, in the minutes they mentioned they would hold rates steady for the foreseeable future. This is great news for buyers and refinancers.

In other good news, lenders are slowly easing requirements – especially in the Jumbo Loan arena.
Sales throughout the southland have picked up dramatically. In fact, June marked 12 straight months sales were higher than the prior year in the San Fernando Valley. The inventory has dropped 51.6% from June of 2008. With historical lows in new home starts and with the population rising, there is growing evidence that prices will level and begin to rise in the near future. This all helps with interest rates and the easing of credit policies.

2009 Strawberry Festival In Oxnard

The 2009 Annual California Strawberry Festival gets underway this weekend, May 16 and 17, at Strawberry Meadows of Oxnard College.  The Proceeds from the festival will benefit many charities and communities in Southern California.

The California Strawberry Festival offers more than 300 art booths, food and strawberry vendors, fun activities for all ages, and much more.
